FE Analysis and Structural Design for Vehicular Engine Connecting Rod

A vehicular engine connecting rod was selected as research object in this paper,using the finite element method as major study tool and choosing the UG and ANSYS software for solid modeling and finite element analysising.Through strength analysis of the connecting rod,determine it's stress distribution in dangerous operating conditions,identify weak links,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the design of connecting rod.
