Proposed Design for an E-Government Web Portal Application Using Cloud Computing

Cloud Computing (CC) presents a further opportunity for government to move forward in providing higher quality and cost-effective government services, creating a better relationship between citizens and government. These new technological developments and trends appear likely to continue at a great pace in the future. The question addressed in this paper looks at how the full benefit of new technology, such as Cloud Computing to support e-government systems, can be leveraged to build an effective environment for better services delivery. To this end, a design for an e-government web portal is proposed utilising techniques from Cloud Computing.
