POLYMERIZATION REACTION ENGINEERING: A PERSONAL OVERVIEW OF THE STATE-OF-ART

The development of representative mathematical models is an essential task in understanding the polymerization processes and translating the best of our knowledge about the interactions of different factors that affect the system. Mathematical models are the basic tools to get insight into the behavior of the process. The present paper aimed at presenting some important state-of-art problems on Polymerization Reaction Engineering, and discussing, through some selected examples, on future directions and challenges in this field.
