Modeling of radar interference impact on VoLTE service

Analytical and experimental investigation results of potential radar interference into Voice over LTE (VoLTE) service of LTE wireless network operating at 800 MHz frequency band are presented. In-lab experimental measurements are compared with computer based simulations to find limits for allowable interference levels and conditions at which radar interference causes strongest impact on voice communication quality.
