Investigation on AIDS Related Knowledge,Behavior and Infection among Men who Have Sex with Men(MSM) in Yancheng City from 2007 to 2008

[Objective]To understand the status of AIDS related knowledge,behavior and infection among men who have sex with men(MSM) in Yancheng city,to provide scientific basis for AIDS prevention and control in the target people.[Methods]Investigation was conducted in 129 MSM in Yancheng city from 2007 to 2008.[Results]Of the 129 MSM,the people aged from 20 to 39 accounted for 75.97%,38.76% of them were bisexual.Condom use rate was 63.57%.HIV infection rate was 3.10%.Syphilis infection rate was 4.65%.[Conclusion]HIV infection rate was higher among MSM in Yancheng city.
