This paper aims at the research on the solidified-soil,which be solidified by sulphoaluminate base soil stabilizer, soundness, setting time,freeze-thaw cycles performances for providing a new soil stabilizer for Highway Engineering. The soil what we used is the northern common black soil and loess, and accordance with"the CJ/T 3073-1998 Soil stabilizer"and"JTJ057-94 Test Methods of Materials Stabilized with Inorganic Binders for Highway Engineering"of the relevant requirements of the soil stabilizer for the solidified-soil test of soundness, setting time,freeze-thaw cycles performances. Two kinds of solidified-soil surface are intact by soundness test. The strength loss of black soil solidified-soil was 9.2% and the strength loss of loess was 8.92% by setting time test, both less than 10% strength loss. Two kinds of solidified-soils soundness and setting time were all in line with relevant standards.Solidified soil after the freeze-thaw cycles comparing with the same kind products, quality loss and strength loss were less than the similar. The freezing capability of solidified soil was superior to the separate freeze-thaw cycles after the soundness testing and freeze-thaw cycles testing. If in low temperature construction,it is recommended to improve the early curing conditions to improve the setting time and increase the curing age, which can better achieve solidified soil in the related standard requirements.
