RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN FOUR WHEEL DRIVE TRANSMISSIONS. PAPER C7/84
暂无分享,去创建一个
Transmissions have been described for four-wheel-drive vehicles which address the customer requirements for improved on-road performance, economy, and refinement whilst retaining all the features required for the most demanding off-highway duties. The requirements have been met by adapting established high volume manual and automatic transmissions to take account of 4 x 4 operation and durability. The new transfer box design is unique in catering for a range of vehicle applications, gearing and drive arrangements. Particular attention has been paid to simplification of controls and ease of operation. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 287578. (TRRL)
