A Robust Description and Tool for Remanufacturing: A Resource and Energy Recovery Strategy

Developing sustainable approaches to manufacture is a critical global concern. Remanufacturing, a process of bringing used products to a "like-new" functional state with warranty to match, is being regarded as a more sustainable mode of manufacturing because it is profitable and less harmful to the environment in comparison to conventional manufacturing. However, the practice is poorly understood because of its relative novelty in research terms. This paper will address this by presenting findings, determined through practical, industrial research and validated by industry and academia
