Synthesis of an adaptive observer using Lyapunov's direct method

An adaptive scheme is synthesized to estimate the state vector and identify all the parameters of a Single-input single-output nth order linear system, from only the input—output data. The scheme is proved to be asymptotically stable in the whole, thus ensuring the convergence of the identification process.
