엔진 냉각용 유체 팬 클러치내의 유동에 관한 연구

The fluid flow in an engine cooling viscous fan clutch is modeled as a rotating flow between two rotating discs. A set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations is derived from Navier-Stokes equations on the basis of Buckingham's PI Theorem. Computer programs far the model are developed to calculate the flow field by using two numerical med1ods: shooting method and iteration method. It has been shown that the calculated results from the fluid motion model are consistent and are agreed with available experimental data.
