Research on design method for discrete event control system with PLC

Existing design methods for discrete event control system(DECS) implemented with programmable logical controller(PLC) have disadvantages in efficiency and ease of use.This paper presents rules and methods based on Petri net to achieve the standardized model of DECS.On the basis of the structured logic relation table with elements,it designs an arithmetic in view of ladder logic diagram(LLD) to transform a model to PLC program automatically,which lays a technological foundation of constructing an integrative design platform for DECS with PLC.
