Cadrage automatique pour la constitution de dictionnaires d'entites phonetiques

Abstract The purpose is to automatically constitute phonetic dictionaries for speech comprehension systems. The method consists of finding the best path in a matrix in which the phonemes pronounced are associated with each stable instant detected in the speech signal. The phonetic string is obtained from an orthographic-phonetic transcription module that takes into account the phonological variations due to the language itself and due to the speaker. Several pronunciations of one word are proposed. First results from a database of 50 phrases pronounced by one speaker are given. This method should permit the adaptation of a preexisting dictionary to a new speaker.
