웹기반 조선 강재적치장 관리시스템 개발에 관한 연구

As we all know, if the steel which is needed to produce blocks in ship building industry isn"t input in time, it will cause the delay of other processes shortly after. This delay causes a lot of problems in a process such as an occurrence of unnecessary works, increase of logistic costs, and confusion of operation control. That is the reason why it is estimated that the procurement of steel and material is more important than an innovation of engineering method. Even though steel stockyard management system is commonly used for managing to the procurement of steel and material, it is only for staff in the office, not workers in site. This study states that it has analyzed an existing steel stockyard management system, and it presents a web-based model which can make users to access information easily. In a system which is based on the model, users can get information such as "Product planning" and collect the information of "Steel stockyard site" in real-time by using a PDA. In addition, users are able to access to the steel stockyard management system by using Web browser whenever or wherever. Therefore, users can carry out steel stockyard management throughout synchronized information with site.
