Network Architecture of Softswitch-based Next Generation Network

Next Generation Networks (NGN) would be Softswitch-based networks. Based on the analysis of Softswitch interoperation mechanisms, different networking technologies for Softswitch are proposed considering the characteristics of Softswitch, such as IP-based system and the separation between signalling and media.Finally,the migration solution for networking architecture from existing telecommunication networks to Softswitch-based NGN is further presented.
