A xenon high-pressure proportional scintillation-camera for X and γ-ray imaging

Abstract A γ-ray imaging detector, working at ambient temperature, with good energy resolution, good spatial accuracy and reasonable detection efficiency has been built. Typical energy resolution is 6 KeV at 122 keV, with 3 mm spatial resolution. Criteria for evaluation of light yield and energy resolution are given.
