Principles and Method for the Evaluation of PLIS

First, the connotation of Port Logistics Information System (PLIS) is discussed. Then we estimate the degree of development of PLIS by Fuzzy Evaluation Method and advance three principles for the PLIS evaluation. Finally, PLISs of the coastal advanced ports in China are evaluated in terms of the three principles and Fuzzy Evaluation Method.
