Flow and transport through unsaturated fractured rock

A special session entitled “Flow and Transport Through Unsaturated Fractured Rock I, II, and III,” which involved a day and a half of both invited and contributed technical presentations as well as a panel discussion, was held during the 1986 AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco. The session was in response to a request by Soroosh Sorooshian (University of Arizona, Tucson), the Fall Meeting Hydrology Session Chairman, to Daniel D. Evans (University of Arizona, Tucson), and Tom Nicholson (U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Washington, D.C.), the session chairmen, who had organized an earlier research symposium sponsored by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on this same topic in Tucson in January 1986.
