Improvement and Application of Weight Sum Model in Armament Effectiveness Evaluation

The common weight sum model is often used in armament effectiveness evaluation,which simply adds the value of each index and their weights,and may be invalid sometimes.The difference of each effectiveness index from the others is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively,and the reason of restriction of the weight sum model is pointed out.A converting coefficient among index layers is introduced to improve the model,and a new effectiveness evaluation model is obtained.The new model takes the difference and the relation among all the effectiveness indexes into account,and merges all the effectiveness indexes of different layers into one layer for calculation.The new model solves the problem of common weight sum method,and increases the precision of armament effectiveness evaluation.
