The digital predistortion(DPD), which is gaining widespread popularity, is a good solution to compensate for the nonlinearity of power amplifier. In this paper, we focus on the DPD performance variation according to the feedback gain which is related to target gain. Three kinds of target gains (saturation, average, maximum gain) were considered in the analysis and simulation. It is highly recommended that target gain should be saturation gain to get good linearity in the DPD system.
