Cubpack: Progress Report

In this paper we report on progress in developing CUBPACK and describe some alternative adaptive schemes for numerical multidimensional integration that are being considered for CUBPACK. These strategies are compared with the classical strategy that is implemented in most existing routines. For singular and discontinuous integrands an improvement up to 50% in efficiency is achieved.
