Funktionsorientiertes Interaktionsmodell zur Simulation menschlicher Bewegungen während der Nutzer-Produkt Interaktion

The perceived value of many products is determined essentially by how well their properties harmonize with the individual abilities and needs of the people who use them. Digital human models offer the possibility to analyze human-product interactions on the basis of virtual prototypes which facilitates ergonomic testing already in early stages of the design process. This however requires an algorithmic prediction of human behavior which is still an open issue in the field of digital human modelling. In this contribution a functional interaction model is proposed that describes user product-interactions on the basis of required manipulations of the products physical state. On this basis optimal control procedures can be employed to predict human motion and posture.
