Durch Selbstarchivierung und Nationallizenzen zu Open Access?

The article describes first results of a survey concerning publication behavior in respect of Open Access, which included the answers of about 2.000 scientists from different German universities. The study is part of a project funded by the German Research Association, which deals with economic implications of Open Access policies and is carried out by researchers from the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) and Victoria University in Canberra (Australia). Amongst other topics the evaluation of the German "National License Program " and the analysis of the hesitating adaption of Open Access models are main objectives of the project. Both goals are represented within the presented survey.
