A Heterogeneous Cellular Automata Model for SARS Transmission

A cellular automata model with region of quarantine is presented to study the transmission of SARS.Each cell is heterogeneous and represents a person in one of the five states:susceptible,infected,quarantined,diagnosed and died.Using this model,we study the effects of quarantine delay intervals,quarantine strengthen and super infectors on the epidemic propagation.
