Structural Design and Experimental Research on Single-chambered Piezoelectric Pump with Double Actuators

In this paper,the structure of single-chambered piezoelectric pump with double actuators is designed and working principle is analyzed.By testing the output performance of the piezoelectric pump when its piezoelectric actuators powered by electricity signal in different ways,the output performance of piezoelectric pump under synchronous actuating is better than asynchronous actuating and the reasons that pump is able to work in way of asynchronous actuating is analyzed.Length of inlet and outlet pipe has great effects on pump optimal working frequency and output flow rate.In addition,output capability of single-chambered piezoelectric pump with double actuators is compared with those of single-chambered piezoelectric pump with single actuator and the result of the former is better than the latter.
