Loss minimization DTC control of permanent magnet synchronous motors

The paper suggests a loss minimization DTC(direct torque control) scheme with the twelve flux-sectors for PMSM(permanent magnet synchronous motors).It utilizes firstly the PMSM model dealing with motor copper and iron loss,finds the optimal magnetizing current,and then gives the optimal reference stator flux ψ*s.Simulation experiments show that the new scheme not only increases the motion efficiency,but keeps some better performance in comparison with the traditional DTC scheme.
