Reconfigurable coherent transceivers for optical transmission capacity and reach optimization

Coherent transceivers in high capacity optical transmission systems have dramatically increased networking capabilities. Enhancing flexibility of these transceivers can enable dynamic optimization of DWDM signal characteristics to extract more capacity from optical networks.
