Gait disorders and fall risk: Detection and prevention

Elderly patients are at risk for high levels of morbidity and mortality from falls related to gait disorders. Gait disorders are often missed in clinical practice but can be easily detected and characterized so at-risk patients can be given appropriate therapy.
