Effect of Nitrogen on Bolting of Bunching Onion (Allium fistulosum L.)

ネギの花芽分化における窒素栄養の関与について明らかにするために, 窒素肥料の追肥量が, ネギ‘金長’の生育, および抽だいに及ぼす影響について調べた. その結果, 低窒素レベルによって生育は抑制され, 葉鞘基部の肥大が起こった. また, 低窒素レベルは窒素含有量だけでなく炭素含有量も低下させたが, C/N率は顕著に増加した. 低温処理によって花成誘導させると, 処理21日間では低窒素は抽だいを促進したが, 処理を35日間とすると窒素レベルの影響は認められなくなった. 以上のことから, ネギの花芽分化において低窒素は, 低温遭遇量が十分でないときにのみ促進的に作用する補足的な要因であると考えられた.
