Dynamic Analysis of Swing Movable Teeth Drive

The forces on a single movable tooth were analyzed and the result was taken as the basis for calculating the forces acting on movable teeth of a single set and double sets. Deformation-coordination equations were derived using displacement method and kinetic-static analysis, and the equations were used to establish the dynamic model of the drive. A numerical example was presented, and the results show that the forces in a working cycle conform to the theoretical analysis.
