Vehicle longitudinal dynamic model for vehicle collision avoidance systems

Vehicle longitudinal dynamic modeling is one of the key technologies in the vehicle control method used in vehicle collision avoidance systems. In this paper, hybrid modeling was used to combine theoretical analysis and real vehicle test data into a dynamics model. Standard vehicle component data was used to develop an accurate but simple longitudinal vehicle model. This model can analyze every vehicle driving state for a complete vehicle collision avoidance system. Simulation results agreed well with real vehicle tests.
