Power supply method and device

The invention discloses a power supply method and device which are suitable for power supply of a signal detection device on large-sized rotating equipment. The method comprises the following steps of: a solar module receives irradiation of a light source and converts received light energy into electric energy; and a battery element stores the electric energy generated by the solar module and provides the electric energy to the signal detection device on the rotating equipment. The problem that power can not be supplied for the signal detection device on the rotating equipment for a long time by using the traditional battery power supply scheme is solved through the implementation of the method and the device disclosed by the invention, so that the signal detection device can continuously acquire the electric energy to monitor the operation condition of the rotating equipment in real time.
