Application of Reverse Engineering in Design of Automotive Panel

Based on the theory of reverse engineering,taking automotive panel design as research object,the surface cloud data was collected by laser scanner and was processed by using Geomagic Studio software,and the panel modeling was reconstructed.The method could be applied to automotive reverse engineering,it is a better attempt to design the new products of automotive industrial.
