On the response of non-linear oscillators to stochastic excitation

Abstract This paper considers the steady-state response of a class of oscillators with nonlinear damping to stochastic excitation. Using the method of equivalent nonlinear differential equations, approximate techniques are developed to solve problems for which no exact solutions exist.
