Sensorless control technology of Brushless DC Motor for Air-conditioner in FCV

The paper proposed a new sensorless operation for Brushless DC Motor. In this paper, analysis of the new position detection method is completed, and also a special startup method is proposed and as well as a special control mode switch scheme. Through this method, the brushless DC motor can start from standstill smoothly, the experiment based on the motor for the Air-conditioner used in fuel-cell vehicle is carried out, which proves the proposed method.
