Extraction of Vanadium From Acid Leaching Solution of Stone Coal by Anion Exchange Resin

Extraction of vanadium from acid leaching solution of stone coal by ion exchange resin was studied.The effects of various factors,such as resin type,solution flow speed and solution pH,on adsorption of vanadium were examined.The test results show that ion exchange is an excellent method for removing impurities and concentrating vanadium from acid leaching solution of stone coal.At the conditions of pH of 2.1 and contact time of 60 min,working adsorption content of the resin for V2O5 is 270 mg/mL,vanadium recovery is to 99%.The mass concentration of vanadium in the stripping solution is up to 100 g/L with 100 g/L NaOH solution as strippant.The mass fraction of V2O5 in final product is higher than 99%.
