The Design of Hybrid MAC Protocol for Industry Monitoring System Based on WSN

Abstract By applying WSN technology in the field of industrial monitoring, the single CSMA or TDMA protocol can not meet the requirement of dealing with the urgent data without delay when some accidents occur. In order to solve this problem, this paper puts forward a hybrid CSMA-TDMA MAC protocol for wireless sensor network, and makes a test in a star network which is made up of one center node and several sensor nodes. The test result indicates that the protocol is feasible and effective.
