Organizing a ‘network of enterprises’: an object-oriented design methodology

Abstract A ‘Network of Entreprises’ originates from an agreement among several industrial enterprises which, in principle, manufacture different but complementary components of a same complex final product. The aim of this type of agreement is to generate a common front-end towards the final user of the produced components, either a large company or the market. The paper will approach a methodology for easily modelling a ‘network of enterprises’, thus offering a tool able to support the validation of a new proposal of this industrial organization.
