Researching the optimization dimensioning of solar heating systems in multifamily dwellings

In a multi-family dwelling heating systems at least supply heat to the two heat consumers, the solar collectors deliver heat as long as solar power is available, and the auxiliary energy source supplies the missing solar power. The key challenge for us creating a heating system is how to combine the different requirement of heat suppliers and heat consumers into one single, cost-effective, durable and reliable heating system, achieving the most benefit from each installed square meter of collectors. This paper has used Polysun as the tool for simulation of six kinds of heating systems performance. Performing a parametric study and sizing a system to meet a given minimum solar fraction with the lowest cost.
