Advanced infrastructure for photonic networks - state of the art and prospects

The main objective of the workshop is to present and discuss the IST OPTIMIST roadmap and evaluate the state of the art and prospects for application of photonic technologies in telecom networks in Europe. In that content research results from projects in the area can be presented and discussed in the prospect of application in next generation optical networks. COST 266 Action and IST OPTIMIST support and promote research for advanced photonic networks in Europe and this workshop is aiming to enhance the interaction between researchers.
