High power high frequency half-wave-mode ZCT-PWM full bridge DC/DC converter

A novel ZCT-PWM type full bridge DC/DC converter is proposed. This circuit realizes the ZCS of the main switches and the auxiliary switch, while achieving the soft recovery of the secondary side diodes. In the full range of loads, if can be operated in the constant frequency soft-switching mode. A 5 kW 100 kHz IGBT type SMPS module has achieved efficiency as high as 96%.
