A method for displaying three dimensional images comprises the steps of sequentially displaying three dimensional images in a display panel along a scan direction and simultaneously displaying, in the display panel, a black image followed by three dimensional images different from each other. The step of sequentially displaying three dimensional images may include the steps of sequentially displaying a left eye image in the display panel along the scan direction and the step of sequentially displaying a right eye image in the display panel along the scan direction, and the black image may be inserted between the left eye image and the right eye image. An insertion section of the black image for alleviating crosstalk of the three dimensional images can be reduced by simultaneously applying black data to a plurality of horizontal lines of the display panel, thereby improving brightness of the three dimensional images.
