Research of SMS4's Implementation in DSP

SMS4 algorithm is the first commercial algorithm published by the government .The research on this algorithm’s implementation is of great importance both theoretically and practically. In this paper, the principle of SMS4 algorithm is introduced, the characteristics of this algorithm are analyzed, the implementation of this algorithm in TI’s TMS320C54X DSP is illustrated, and some optimized methods are proposed.
