The present invention relates to an image processing device for recovering a three-dimensional effect and, more specifically, to an image processing device for recovering a three-dimensional effect, which is capable of, when photographing an image by a closed-circuit television camera installed at a high position, geometricizing and drawing a virtual aid on an empty space around a person (object) in order to prevent degradation of a three-dimensional effect caused by an unrealistic image, thereby recovering the three-dimensional effect. The image processing device for recovering a three-dimensional effect of the present invention comprises: a camera (100) for photographing an object; an image acquisition unit (200) for acquiring an image from the camera; an object recognition unit (300) for recognizing the object from the image acquisition unit; and a virtual aid insertion unit (400) for inserting a virtual aid around the recognized object. According to the present invention, when photographing an image by the closed-circuit television camera installed at a high position, a virtual aid can be geometricized and drawn on an empty space around a person (object) in order to prevent degradation of a three-dimensional effect caused by an unrealistic image, thereby enhancing discrimination when monitoring the person (object).
