Characteristic Analysis of Space Targets in Orbit Based on the Phase of Radar Echoes

This paper deduces the radar echoes model based on LFM signal,and discusses the phase change of echoes due to targets motion,and then presents the method about Doppler extraction based on the orbit data of the space targets.By processing the radar echoes of the space targets with different motion state,the Doppler characteristic of the space targets has been analyzed.The experiment result indicates the phase of echoes contains lots of characteristic of the space targets,and it is possible to analyze the characteristic of the space targets from the phase of echoes.
