Automatic meter reading system based on GPRS technology

A new automatic meter reading system based on GPRS(General Packet Radio Service) is presented to meet the demands for reliability and real time performance of data communication, in which the bottleneck of system communication is overcome. Its structure and operational principle are introduced in detail,including the consumer analysis and management system in power bu-reau,electricity sale management system in bank and data acquisition system. The system is cha-racterized with its high speed,high reliability,real-time performance and low spending.
