Dispersion compensation of 100 GHz spaced WDM 40 Gb/s signals by phase conjugation in As2S3 glass

We demonstrate dispersion compensation of a WDM 3×40 Gb/s (100 GHz spaced) RZ-DPSK signal in a 162 km standard fibre link by using optical phase conjugation via CW pumped four wave mixing in a As<sub>2</sub>S<sub>3</sub> planar waveguide.
