POWER SYSTEM STABILIZERS DESIGN BY USING SHUFFLED FROG LEAPING

:هلاقم هصلاخ This paper investigates the ability of Shuffled frog leaping (SFL) algorithm to simultaneous coordinated tuning of power system stabilizers (PSSs) to damp the oscillations. For this the parameters of two PSSs are determined simultaneously by SFL. The numerical results are presented on a ۲-area ۴-machine system to illustrate the feasibility of the SFL algorithm. Also, to validate the results obtained by SFL algorithm, Genetic Algorithm (GA) is applied for comparison. To show the effectiveness of the designed controllers, a three phase fault is applied. The simulation study shows that the designed controller by SFL performs well in finding the solution.
