Magnetic domains and anisotropy distribution in Fe40Ni40P14B6 amorphous ribbons

Bitter patterns that appear at various depths below the surface after polishing, both on the bright and the rough sides of an amorphous ribbon of Fe40Ni40P14B6 are presented. A distribution of the magnetic anisotropy near the surface of the ribbon is suggested.
