Design of optimum mean square sidelobe supppression filters for barker codes

This paper proposes a new filter design algorithm to obtain the coefficients of the Rihaczeck-Golden filter using the Lagrange multiplier method. This formulation is regarded as one of the least square algorithm. In general, minimization of peak sidelobe level is required in a nonuniformly distributed clutter environment and minimization of mean square sidelobe level in a uniformly distributed clutter environment. Therefore one can use the proposed algorithm for the latter. >
