Food and energy resources

This book presents papers on energy consumption in the food industry. Topics considered at the conference included solar energy, energy flow in the food system, energy sources and conversions relating to food, the role of energy in world agriculture and food availability, forecasting, energy use in crop systems in northeastern China, developing countries, socio-economic factors, ethical aspects, solar process heat, biomass energy, prices, land use, and conservation.
